The little girl and the wolf-

I didn’t exactly like this one, but it I liked how there was an unusual twist at the end. It surprised me because I didn’t expect the little girl to shoot the wolf at the end. I can tell that he is mocking the story, “little red riding hood,” by having the wolf dress up the grandma.

The birds and the foxes-

I liked the story since it was different and had a twist at the end. I didn’t expect the foxes to ruin everything at the end. I can’t tell which fairytale story they’re trying to mock.

The Bear-

I didn’t really understand the meaning of this story. The only twist was when the bear would do cartwheels and such, then go back to resting himself back to health. I can’t tell which story Thurber is trying to mock.
